As a continuation of the previous post- the past year of my exciting life...

I made this awesome Princess Peach costume for Halloween! It looks pretty legit, and I also made a cardboard car, go-cart style, to match! I felt pretty satisfied with how it turned out :) 

I broke my pinky playing my newfound love, flag football! Totally dove to pull flags, and unfortunately missed and broke my pinky. I had surgery to fix it straight, complete with pins. I still don't regret it!

The next thing is probably the highlight of this past year... going to MEXICO! We stayed in Playa del Carmen and we...

...visited cool places like Chichen Itza...

 ...Ate yummy mexican food!...

...And spent LOTS of time at the beach, which due to my pins in my hand I had to use a lovely thing that we nicknamed "the mitten"! At least it did a great job at keeping my hand dry! We also discovered that my arm looked very similar to a llama face...

I also debuted in my ward's 5 minute production of the Wizard of Oz as the wicked witch. Needless to say, I blew everyone away with my witchy-ness...

Most recently, I did the Zion ragnar trail relay, which was a BLAST! we camped, ran, ate, and hardly slept. :) 15 miles of awesome trails, all over the mountains. Most of us were strangers to start, and now we are all friends! And we can't wait to do it again...

And that sums up my year. I'd say it was pretty good... :) The hardest part was not having too much fun! I'm so grateful to have such awesome friends and family who put up with my crazy ideas, and still love me anyway. 

So recently, I have been having some guy drama in my life. Its nice to have, but also very stressful and frustrating at the same time! Especially a person like myself, in which everything is a big deal. Amidst all the drama, I realized that I should think about maybe share some of my thoughts on my blog that I haven't written  on for a while. It wasn't until I finally got on, and looked at when my last post was! Its been almost a year. Crazy. So I decided to post pictures of how I have lived, laughed, and loved this past year!

About Me

So i am a 20-something single girl, wondering where life is gonna take me.  Everyone tells me this is the time of my life and i should LIVE IT UP! My siblings say they wish they were in my shoes, instead of their responsible family shoes. I see they happiness they have, despite the struggles of family, and wonder what was so great about this time of life? I am lonely, unsettled about my future, and everything i do is on a whim. I have no certain plan of where I am going, no one person to share in every joy and pain with, and lots of silly desires to steal my money away. Is that really THE LIFE that everyone longs to have? I am not so sure about that... Granted i do have friends, and i do have fun! But those do not necessarily bring me lasting happiness. I am on the quest to find that lasting happiness, which i believe is through laughter, living life to its fullest, and love.

Purpose of my blog

I was recently thinking about the life experiences I have had and I consider the lump of all of them pretty unique. I am not a deep thinker by any means, and I usually don't feel like I get the big picture, but I thought, I should write about my experiences of love and life. So here you go, and of course, I love to laugh, so there will definitely be some humor!

I hope my experiences will inspire happiness and hope in your own life, and a desire to be a better person. This world is in need of better people!
